Answer: It means that the total cost of your session is given back to you as a print credit. The only time you will have to spend more money is if you order more than $250 worth of finished items or in very rare situations where extensive editing is required.

Question: What is extensive editing?

Answer: This is something really extreme like major scar removal or a bald person wanting hair. Really significant changes. I am pretty comfortable doing most types of editing but if something exceeds my ability I will need to hire a retouching professional and that will cost extra.

Question: Why do I have to order $20 worth of each final image?

Answer: Because final editing takes far longer than taking the photos in most instances and is a way to help control the number of images that need to be edited. Pricing is based on an estimated amount of time to complete an entire order and the time required would be significantly altered by an order for 30 different 5×7 images.

Question: Why would an electronic file only image still cost $20?

Answer: I still have the same amount of editing and processing time to produce an electronic image as I do an image to use for a print. Because I have chosen a pricing model that does not get complicated by sitting fees plus printing costs and predetermined packages, it is way to make sure I am able to cover my costs and able to remain in business.
