To cut to the chase and get to the most frequently asked question, pricing for wedding packages ranges from $800 – $2,750 which covers photography, proofs, coffee table books, copyright released images, basic 4×6 prints, credits toward professional prints and some other items specific to certain packages such as video and DVD’s. Pricing for engagement sessions ranges from Free to $100. Add-ons and other services can increase your total costs but this gives you the general ranges.

While I want to be reasonably priced, being the cheapest is not my goal. My goal is to provide the best possible photo and video coverage of your special day with the highest level of quality, service, accessibility and professionalism.

I pride myself on being a very skilled photographer who uses a wide range of the the very best equipment to provide coverage far exceeding what most are capable of providing. I hope that after viewing some of the samples of my work you will quickly see that I am not just some guy with a camera. With me, you will get a photographer that not only has top notch gear, but one that also has backup equipment to ensure that your day will not be spoiled because a camera, lens or flash stops working.

You will also get a photographer who will be punctual, professional and will be happy and enthusiastic to be covering your wedding. I strive for every wedding I cover to be the best one I have ever done. I also am very flexible and can adapt to any situation that might develop and never get frustrated when things don’t go exactly as planned.

It is also not my goal to cover every wedding out there. I want to limit the number of weddings I book so that I can provide the highest level of service and attention to those who book with me. I do not have a cookie cutter approach to covering a wedding and want to work with couples who are willing to be actively involved in planning their coverage and who want to take the time to do the little extra things that will allow us to create memorable images that you can treasure forever.

Engagement sessions are intended to allow the couple to have professional images of themselves to mark their engagement. These can be very useful for things such as newspaper listings, creating signing boards for use at your wedding, or creating “Save the Date” cards or magnets for inclusion in your invitations, to name a few.

They also can make nice decorations for your home as you prepare for the big day. You do not have to book your wedding with me to get engagement photos taken. However, those who have booked a wedding will receive an expanded amount of finished items, longer photo sessions and price reductions up to the point your engagement session could be free.

There are different lengths of time and deliverables for an engagement session that are tied to the type of booking you make. While the details are different, the process is the same.

STEP 1 – BOOK YOUR SESSION

This will get a date and time locked in and allow us to begin planning your session. I will be adding a calendar to my website in the near future but until then, please either call or send me an E-mail to book a session. My contact information is included on page 4 of the downloadable information document.

STEP 2 – TAKE YOUR PHOTOS

This can be done in studio, on location or a combination of both, depending on your needs and the amount of time available. Shooting time ranges from 1 hour for customers who have not booked a wedding to 2 hours for those who have booked a wedding. Additional time can be added at an additional cost.

I will plan to take a variety of different shots to give you as many options as possible to choose from. I will delete the bad images (Eyes closed, test shots, etc.) and post the remaining images to an on-line gallery where you can then review all of them. STEP 3 – PICK YOUR FAVORITES

Each offering has a different number of final images you can select that are included with the package. You can also add additional images if you like at an additional cost. I will then make final edits to these images doing things like cropping, touching up blemishes, fixing color issues, etc. and will provide you a CD containing high resolution copies of all your selected images. You will also receive a release that allows you to print and use these images however you want.

If you have also booked a wedding, your proof gallery and a gallery containing your final selections will be added to the gallery that will be used to display all your proofs from the wedding and will remain available here until 60 days after your wedding. If you have booked a wedding, I will also include the engagement proofs on a special web page used to gather all the final things from your wedding. Click here to see an example of one of these pages. The engagement photos are included at the bottom.

STEP 4 – PICK FAVORITE(S) TO BE PRINTED

Make your selection(s) from the final images that I should use to make the professional prints that are provided with your specific package. I will then get your prints made and delivered to you.

The Silver Package is designed for small weddings and for those on a tight wedding budget. Not every wedding is a show-stopping extravaganza or has a $30,000 budget, but that does not make it any less memorable or important to the couple. The Silver Package will still provide you with outstanding photography of the event.

The package provides up to five hours of coverage of the event. Images of the ceremony, greeting line, reception entrance and the main reception events like the toasts, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss will all be captured. Additionally, a full series of formal shots of the couple and their wedding party will also be captured.

All images from the day will be organized and posted to an online gallery for you to review. Click here to view an example of an online proofing gallery.

In addition to your online gallery, a webpage dedicated to your event will be created and posted on this site under the wedding events category as shown on the left. Click here to view an example. This webpage will allow you to access all the items created from your wedding in a single place. Access to your proofs, a slideshow of favorites, and your engagement pictures if you book and engagement session will all be included here and you can share the link to this page with anyone you like so they can also view everything. All items can be password protected if you like to limit access.

After your online gallery is available you can select up to 100 images that will then be edited. Editing will cover things like cropping, basic touchups and general color corrections including conversion to black and white or sepia if requested. Elaborate image editing is also available but will incur additional costs. Since there is such a wide range of things this can cover, it will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

These final high resolution images will be burnt to a disk for you and you will also receive a release that will allow you to print and use them as you wish. You will also receive a set of 4×6 prints of all final images selected.

Additionally, you will receive a 20 page casebound book using any or all of the final images you selected. The book will have a printed cover using one of your images. You are invited to help in the design of the book or I will do it for you, whatever you want.

You will also have an $80 credit that can be applied to purchase professional prints or additional services like additional edited images, additional image CD’s etc. The credit can be applied to everything except additional photo books.

The Silver Package is $800.

The Gold Package is designed for most traditional weddings that do not need video coverage as well. It is similar to the Silver Package but offers extended photo coverage to allow for capturing more of the details of the ceremony, preparation and guests.

The package provides up to seven hours of coverage of the event. Images of the ceremony, greeting line, reception entrance and the main reception events like the toasts, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss will all be captured along with the couple as they get ready for the event, the general decor at the wedding and reception locations and a larger variety of images of the guests. A full series of formal shots of the couple and their wedding party will also be captured.

The Platinum Package is a premium offering designed for the couple who not only wants extensive photo coverage of their special day from start to finish but also wants video coverage as well.

The package utilizes a photographer as well as a second photographer / video operator to provide a much wider range of coverage possibilities. There is no time limit for coverage of your special day. You tell us when to arrive and we will stay until the end.

Images of the ceremony, greeting line, reception entrance and the main reception events like the toasts, cake cutting, garter and bouquet toss will all be captured along with the couple as they get ready for the event, the general decor at the wedding and reception locations and a larger variety of images of the guests. A full series of formal shots of the couple and their wedding party will also be captured.

A video of the entire ceremony will be created as well as video shot throughout the day will be used to create a music video of the highlights. You can even pick the song.

When not shooting video, the second operator will be shooting additional still images which will increase the variety of images you have from the event and both photographers will be working together to make sure everything gets covered and then some.

Both photographers will be experienced wedding photographers. We would not place such important responsibilities in the hands of an amateur. What you are getting is two skilled photographers working together to make your special day one you will not forget.

This is a real example of what you can expect from a Platinum wedding. This wedding was covered by Lori Poteet and myself. The images in this gallery are a combination of both of our photos. Lori shot still images full time and I shuffled between shooting video and still images.

These final high resolution images will be burnt to a disk for you and you will also receive a release that will allow you to print and use them as you wish. You will also receive a set of 4×6 prints of all final images selected.

Additionally, you will receive two 40 page casebound books using any or all of the final images you selected. The books will have a printed cover using one of your images. You are invited to help in the design of the book or I will do it for you, whatever you want. Please note, this is two copies of the same book, not two different books.

The videos that are created will also be made into a DVD and you will receive three copies of the DVD.

You will also have a $200 credit that can be applied to purchase professional prints or additional services like additional edited images, additional image CD’s or DVD’s etc. The credit can be applied to everything except additional photo books.

The Platinum Package is $1,950.

The Double Platinum Package is the top offering we have available. Think of it as the Platinum package on steroids. It is a premium offering designed for the couple who not only wants extensive photo coverage of their special day from start to finish but also wants extensive video coverage as well.

By now I am sure you are getting tired of reading so will focus on what differentiates this package from the Platinum Package.

The Double Platinum package adds a third shooter to the mix that will spend all their time shooting video. This will allow one photographer to do full time still photos, one to do stills and video and another to do nothing but video.

All of the things that are covered with the Platinum package are also covered with the Double Platinum package, just more of it. The other significant differences are:

You will be allowed to select 300 final images instead of the 225 included with the Platinum package.

Your casebound books will be 13 x 11 and 80 pages instead of 10 x 8 and 40 pages.

Your DVD’s will include expanded highlight segments that can either be music videos or separate chapters on the DVD. We will work with you to define what you want as a final product.

You will receive a $275 credit, up from the $200 credit of the Platinum package.

This is the best of the best we offer and anyone booking this package will be encouraged to be actively involved in planning the coverage. There are so many possibilities for what can be created when this many professionals are covering an event, your input will be critical.

Like with the Platinum Package, your engagement session is also free.

The Platinum Package is $2,750.
